I have a caravan at Butlins Minehead, it has loads of entertainment and is close to the beach.

There are lots of statics at unity farm.
You cna book direct or very often you can find private rentals, even some on ebay.
Not far from beach, onsite shop, takeaways, various entertainment venues, swimming pool with flumes, kids clubs, mini theme park, land train, fishing, big play ground etc...http://www.hru.co.uk/
We go camping here and the kids love it!
