Anyone had any experience with the above company ?
I've booked accommodation with them on 6th August, and paid by credit card in full as we travel on 28th August. The money has been taken but I've received no confirmation invoice or anything. I've e-mailed them and they said the documents would be in the post shortly. Still nothing ...
I've just e-mailed them again, no reply as yet. And to make matters worse, I've just had a look at where we are staying again on the website and the price has gone up nearly £200 more than what it stated when I booked and paid.
Should I be worried? This is the first DIY holiday I've done, usually use James Villas/Villa Plus. Everything else has gone smoothly, already got plane tickets and insurance, have just got this hanging over me ...

Villas to go leave a lot to be desired. Very slow to send any confirmation. When they sent us the directions to our villa they sent the directions to a different villa, only by luck did we notice before we left.
Whilst our villa was very nice, there were lots of things missing, like a washing machine, a working dishwasher, towels of an adequate standard, pool cleaning, garden maintenance, a BBQ, plus many many more things. All these were advertised in Villas to go as being at our villa. When we complained it took them nearly a month to reply and they couldnt have cared less. Very unprofessional attitude, almost rude. Would never use them again.

We were really sorry to her that they had a few problems whilst on holiday - many of the issues highlighted could have been easily rectified had they contacted our local representative who coincidentally lives nearby. Villas, like private homes sometimes have appliances break down and unfortunately, the dishwasher broke down during Jane's stay. There is a washing machine, the maid who comes to the villa 3 times per week will take care of any washing for our clients - it's an arrangement that has worked very well for several years.
We invest both time and effort selecting our villas very carefully and have staff in resort, available 24/7 to assist our clients with any issues, therefore, we are disappointed to hear that this holiday was needlessly ruined by some simple issues that could have been quickly and easily rectified.
We responded in detail to the client on her return and offered Jane a 10% discount on a future Villas to Go holiday.
We invest both time and effort selecting our villas very carefully and have staff in resort, available 24/7 to assist our clients with any issues, therefore, we are disappointed to hear that this holiday was needlessly ruined by some simple issues that could have been quickly and easily rectified.

I notice that the complainant has not posted on here since the original post! All too often posters on this forum arrive and post 1 critical comment and then disappear, or don't let us know the outcome.
Having not heard of your company before, I will at least have a look at your site, and consider using you in the future!

I just wanted to say villastogo are brilliant,I booked some cheap flights to portugal for last july for my family which included 5 adults and 5 children.When I looked at the villa agents on line I was horrified to discover that it was either thursday or saturday change over and we were traveling on a tuesday.Well some of the agents offered to try and help but only villastsgo got back to me with the offer of a 6bed villa at balaia grande just as I was about to change the flights and pay another £1000.
We had a fantastic time and I wouldn,t hesitate to use them again,in fact they will be my first port of call
