                Hi jaout,
A useful site, which includes sound files to demonstrate Bulgarian pronunciation (click the musical note symbol next to the word/phrase), is the Bulgarian Survival Kit. It also gives the Bulgarian Words in both Cyrillic and Latin characters, e.g. 'Good night' is shown both in Cyrillic "Ûõúð ýþщ" and its Latin character equivalent, "leka nosht".
Another site, the BBC's 'Quick Fix', also gives pronunciation sound files here (click the speaker symbol next to the phrase).
For a straightforward machine translation site, it's hard to beat Skycode Webtrance but, like BYKI, the Bulgarian words are only presented in the Cyrillic alphabet.

Hi, if you want a good little phrase book to take with you, go onto Waterstones web site, they have "Chambers Bulgarian Phrasebook" on offer at £3.15 instead of £3.50 and free postage to U.K. Cheers. We have been going for a while and when you say a few words in their language they love it and treat you very well i think (leg a nosgha) is thank you and (bugladiohera) is good night please do not look at the spelling as i know it is probably wrong.

                Hi tgilmour,
It's the other way around - 'ÃÂ'ûðóþôðрѠ(Blagodariya)' is 'Thank you' & 'Ûõúð ýþщ (Leka nosht)' is 'Good night'.
