I when we take money out from cash machines in Majorca it always asks you if you want to accept the exchange rate or something like that, I never no what to do when this comes up? what is the best answer? if anybody has seen this or am I just imagining it ,,,

i think you are to say when it asks you if you want the exchange rate in Euros as thats a better rate, but i am sure others will pop on and let you know for sure soon

If you are offered GBP or euros always choose euros so that you get a better rate.

Agreed, always choose Euros, the end-cost is usually slightly better.
