I think your problem with First Choice is that they don't fly here in the winter season.To the best of my knowledge it's Thomas Cook or Nobody for package deals.BA. now fly 3 times a week from Gatwick and you can catch Cyprus Turkish Airlines from Gatwick or Manchester ( MAN is on Saturdays only ) Thats assuming you would want to do DIY.

If anyone has been to the Delphin Palace is there a place to swap books, and where are they kept. I only found the one at the Xanadu towards the end of last years holiday.
I can get through about 11 or so books in two weeks. But now the weight allowance has gone down i cannot take so many.

seen your post in other other topic how was you able to get that price when i priced it up a few weeks ago with travel agent couldnt get price below 5900 for 4 adults and 1 child for 2 weeks in august this year and next ?
I used a TA that works for the co-op group. She works from home, i have always used her and she will always beat any high street TA price. It all depends on how much discount they are will to give. I suppose the more they give to the customer the less they make on the holiday.

This year has been fully booked since last june/ july. I should have thought that they could have got it down about another £500.00. for next year.
I will be there from 1st August, will look out for you Wendywu in the book exchange as I also get through a fair few books!

We went to the Delphin Palace in September 2007. Then the Gala Night was fortnightly, on a Friday i think.
There was a book exchange, it was on the ground floor, near the lifts and travel agents desks / brochures etc.
I'm sure you will all have a lovelt time, it's a lovely hotel
