Could anyone give me a couple of bus routes please?
Is there a direct bus from the airport to the Port at Palma as we are on a Thomson cruise from there but booked our own flights.
If there isnt a direct bus we will probably use Janerbus again as they are very reliable.
On out last day we arent flying home until early evening so we would like to do the train trip to Soller, probably train one way and bus the other, whilst the ship is in port.
Could anyone give me any tips about where to catch the train/ bus from and also the length of the journey to Soller, we want to have a relaxing day there, not be clock watching to get back to the ship to collect our cases and then the airport for home. Thank you
There is a bus that runs from the airport into Palma, it's the Line 1 bus and it stops at the port. As you leave the baggage collection area in the airport you exit into a long corridor-like hall to the left and right. In the centre there is a meeting point and information kiosk (marked "C" for Information in Catalan). Directly opposite is an exit doorway, walk out and continue ahead until the pedestrian crossing, cross over and on the right is the stop for line 1. Takes about 15-20 mins to the port and the fare is around 2 Euros pp.

The train to Soller runs from the station just across from the Plaza Espania (Placa Espanya in Catalan). The train journey takes about 45 mins.

For return by bus you want line 210.

The Sóller Railway is 17€ return to Placa Espanya there is also a train / tram /boat round trip to Palma /Sóller/Palma which I believe is 57€ (you can tell I only went on the train
)
Have to agree with you about Janerbus cheap and very reliable
though I do like the local bus prices about 1000% cheaper than round here
