new one on me bought back an expensive bottle from an olive press on Zakynthos last year [ it didn't last long with fresh crusty bread] but it must be in your hold baggage

I heard that too but we went to Zante last year and brought some back, no problems.

We always bring some olive oil back and have never had a problem.
Like Wizard I love it with some fresh crusty bread but I add a small amount of Balsamic vinegar in to the olive oil, mmmmmmm.

Can't beat that Graham. Had a hell of a mess one year though. We were still allowed to carry liquids in hand luggage then & hubby & I thought it would be safer there than in the hold. Don't know what happened but the "tin" cracked & it leaked everywhere. O my God What a mess!!
