From 1 January all accommodations in Rome will be adding new taxes to their rates.

The costs:
€ 3 per night for 4/5 star accommodation
€ 2 per night at other accommodation

Both for upto 10 nights stay....

Some Tour operators may absorb the costs but others may not so please check.
