Don't know the Rodos Maris but Kiotari is a smallish, quiet resort built along a long strip of beach just before Gennadi. Not a bad beach but a mix of sand and pebbles, there were a couple of beach front tavernas as I remember but could be several more now. It's famed for Shimba's Club, call in there after the bars and restaurants have closed and you might well see a few familiar Lindos faces

Distance wise I'd say it's about twice as far as Lardos.
