I discovered this house when I was in Sousse in March and would highly recommend it to those who haven't already been there. Through the Medina, following the walls is this old house which has been restored is now a museum. You enter through a courtyard where the master of the house used to greet guests then go through to the other rooms, all fully furnished. First wife's bedroom, second wife's bedroom, children's rooms, kitchens, bathroom etc. There is a cafe on the roof with fantastic views though it seems to only sell coffee and cold drinks, which are brought up by the owner/guide. If you 'google' it you will see pictures, but you will also see they say it is closed following the death of the owner. I can assure you it isn't as it was taken over earlier this year and more restoration is to take place soon. Entrance is 4TDN (£2) plus the usual 1TDN to take photographs, and well worth every millim.
