I found that a thick layer of axle grease mixed with rotten eggs is best & it's cheap.My wife said so am i, hence separate holidays this year!

Jungle from any chemist will keep the mossies away, failing that try jungle juice, they will still bite but you won't feel them.

Cardif girl- are your friends still going on the Melody on the 5th of September, i just noticed their names on the "who going where when" thread, do they have access to HT or email? I would be nice to have a few more onboard, only me, stu the meddy+elaine and tj so far.
I've just been looking at the site mentioned above and found the following under 'cruise etiquette' - it certainly raised a wry smile:
"On any given cruise you will run into individuals who are chronic complainers and will share any and all their grievances, to who ever will listen to them. Politely point them in the correct direction of a senior crewmember."
Incidentally it is a very useful site. I'll try and see if they have anything specific on the rest of our ships tomorrow, but I can hear my bed calling now.

I rang **** on Thursday about my brothers non returned phone calls, yes guys I am still on it, and got straight through! When I asked for Rocky the lady said he too has left the company. No wonder the promised call backs didnt come. Any way she told me that there were no more allocations at the moment, but that there would be in two weeks. So I suggest anyone else in the same situation as my brother rings them asap to get on the top of the pile.
Bon Voyage to all you people off now, have a good one. Only two weeks for us now but I still cant get into my posh frocks.

Good Morning from the Plaster du Paris Cruise
What a glorous day it is, well so far, I am in agreement with Thomas
Whats wrong with a dolop of axle grease, it keeps things moving smoothly, althouth the rotten eggs - well I'd rather fry them (before they got rotten)
I must warn any likly ladies on the 10th Oct I do not like Marmite, and steer well clear of it
