I would like to say a Big Thank You to all in HT. A few months ago i joined not knowing how to post or anything. All i had was a cruise to Lybia that wasn't going to happen.I didn't have any other cruise or any idea of how to even get one. With all the help and patience of you members i learnt how to go about getting one and on the 03/07 i shall be sailing on the armonia with other people from HT.I can only say how grateful i am and how much i have come to love each and every one of you who have many times' made my day' with your wit.

Well done Annj I am so glad that you are not among those poor people who never heard a thing after getting the Libya allocation and so gave up. Have a wonderful cruise and tell us all about it when you get back. I am green with envy

I've just rung R**E Travel to speak to Kerry Anne who is no longer with the company. I am on the Melody 11th Jul and asked when we could expect the tickets. The person on the other end said MSC send them to R**E about 5 days before. That's cutting it a bit fine to get them to us. Isn't it?

Oh H**l thats something else I've got to worry about now I've negotiated round the strikes. I'm going 4 days earlier than the cruise leaves so it's to be hoped the tickets come before I set off!

To all of those travelling soon and waiting for tickets with bated breath, do try not to panic. I received my tickets 9 days before my cruise date and generally speaking, most people have received them within 7 days. Only a few out of those who have travelled so far have received them in less time than this. Armonians travelling on 3rd July received theirs on 24th June and Melodians travelling on 4th July got them on 25th June so please try not to worry too much!

Our tickets for 4th July all seemed to arrive at the same time, which was last Saturday. So yours should come but this Saturday I reckon.

Good luck and happy sailing to those on the Armonia 3/7. I'm sure you will all have a wonderful time. The Melodians on 4/7 are certainly looking forward to our cruise and it will be nice to compare notes when we all get back.

Once i had contacted Rise through the email link on this site everything became easy and they were so helpful. I am sure i wouldn't be booked in a single cabin of the Opera without the information i found here.

To all those still waiting for their allocation, i wish you good luck. Have patience, come here for advice and above all don't give up.

ps I've donated my HT points as a wee thankyou. The mass donation day is a great idea. Hopefully the total will reach £2000 before the end of the day.

Woopee. When I got home tonight the tickets were there for the 11th July. So I'm all excited. I am in a Cat 6 inside cabin but that's what I paid the grand sum of £10 for!!!! Now I have 11 days to lost 4 stone. I can do it!

can anybody who has had their cruise on the melody tell me how long it takes {disembarkation} from leaving the ship to getting on coach to Malpensa? Also there is def a hairdryer in cabin, yes? Thanks.

Just like to add my gratitude to HT and all who sail in her.........I was a Libyan-non-starter but the direct link got me a replacement cruise (4/7 Melody) and the feedback made me forewarned when I had the random call trying to get me to take sad alternatives.

I stopped the person in their tracks, stated that I was happy to stick with the cruise I had just accepted etc.........the mention of being a Holiday Truths member still seemed to have a clout at that time and I got my confirmation.

I will, like many others, help in any way I can to get a cruise for those still left waiting and count myself as one of the lucky ones who got confirmation before the shutters came down.

Good luck to all..........this site really is still your best source of help & communication regarding the DE cruise offer as the media do not seem very motivated to see fair play.
