Went for 2 weeks and had fantastic time. Nine of us in our party including my 2 yar old grand-daughter and sons aged 7 and 12. Rooms clean, pool fantastic but people were waiting from 8am for sunloungers (only thought Germans did that!). Thomson reps on site and the entertainment team were exceptional. If you are thinking of going self catering - beware - the kitchen has only 2 electric rings and a toaster, so best eat at the Red Lion bar on site. Kids Zone takes care of the kids during parts of the day (my 7 year old loved it) and there are activities for all ages every day of the week. We enjoyed it so much - we will be going back.
As for groups of lads/ladettes - there were only a few even though it is supposed to be a families only site, but the complex is far enough away from the main drinking areas that are found near the beach.
Different entertainment every night in the main bar, but you have to get there early if you want a seat near the stage. Happy times await for any families due to go there.
