Hi - when we married in Lindos in 2001 some of our party stayed at the Lindos Star and were very satisfied with it. I think it and the Lindos Bay are from the same company. Both are situated in the Vlicha bay which is not the main Lindos Bay and is about a 10 mins drive to Lindos itself ! (Useful to remember if you are marrying at St Pauls or the Acropolis!)
Vlicha bay is quieter and has nicer sand and a few taverna's along it, it also has some water sports available and a couple of shops - a supermarket and a gold shop.
Lindos Star is not a luxury hotel but when we visited our friends there we found it to be clean and pleasant and the staff to be very welcoming I seem to recall enjoying several cocktails in the bar with the very amenable (or was he just very drunk??!!) waiter Christos! The bedroom itself was rather small but did have air conditioning and a TV . There is a nice pool area if you don't fancy the beach although the beach is only about 5 mins walk.
