any advise on weather in october, normally go to dodecanese or crete....always been lovely....rainfall?

Hi,have visited in October before.We went for 2 weeks(7th-21st) and had 1 day of heavy showers and 1 night.Still warm enough to swim in the sea and sunbathe,but needed a light jacket/sweater in the evenings!

You can expect rain anytime, we went to corfu in June and had several days rain

VIsited Corfu 3 times twice in September once October had rain on the 3 occasions worse was October but did get some very good days.

We went to Corfu 5th-12th May last year and the weather was beautiful (warm and Sunny) for the main part of the day. The mornings took a while to warm up and the evenings were a little cool but we only had one morning's rain and we sunbathed for the rest of the time. The hotel pool was freezing though.
To see the weather there for the next 10 days visit http://www.weather.co.uk and type in Corfu. I found it pretty accurate last year.

Any idea what to expect weather wise, friend is going 19th October and panicking about the weather! Thanks
