Sorry to hear you are getting nowhere fast,but it doesnt suprise me.UA do not have a good reputation. I have just returned from South Africa and had a bad flight on South African Airways(most of them are),although nothing like your grief and I have written to complain but I would be suprised if I even got a reply let alone a result but it shouldnt put us off trying.
The advice about Ros is good and now is the time to go back to her I think.Good luck & keep us posted
Sorry to hear that you had a bad flight, I just find it bad that they cannot be bothered to acknowledge your letters,I have spoken to the air transport council and they said to send all the letters i have sent to UA to send copies to them and they will look into it for me so thats a good start,I will not be giving up on this as i know UA are in the wrong.
