Yilmuz (i'm not sure of the spelling either) wasn't around last week, but I'm sure he'll be back this summer. I was talking to Argie about him and I think he said he was 2nd longest employee, if not the oldest.
We're going in August also, last 2 weeks, maybe we'll meet?
Another change I just remembered, Michael is moving from DJ'ing and the new guy is a dead ringer for Harry Potter - should be popular with the kids.
No change to the beach yet, but you never know what will happen by mid-May.

So what are these changes to the beach then or is it a suprise?
looking forward so much to August, we keep trying to explain to our friends that are coming for the first time how friendly you all are but it's
hard to imagine until you are actually there.

When we were there last September, we didn't come across any mosquitos, much to our relief. But I did wonder if it was because of the time of year, or are there never any in Bitez.

No we were there in July and only had a couple of tiny bites between us all. that was another big plus for us, we're really anti mozzie!!
I took every lotion and potion ever invented with us but it wasn't needed, great isn't it>

Hi guys, I was wondering if somebody could help me out. I've recently booked a holiday to Bitez and will be staying in the Hotel Orion. But, I've read some reviews and theres some security issues. I'm trying to email the hotel to ask whether they could possibly allocate us a 1st floor room.... but the 2 e-mail address's I've tried havent worked. Does anybody know of one or where I can find one?

After much searching, we have finally booked our holiday to Bitez took everyones advice on board and going the Hotel Manuela in May, booked flights with First choice but then rang me to say they had gone up £60.00 so searched around and got flights with Thomas Cook. So at last 1 week on the 29th May. Sooooo looking forward to it.
Hope you enjoy your holiday Mandii. You will be arriving at the Manuela as we leave. We Promise not to drink the bar dry.

I had an email from Oktay yesterday saying they had all been working hard making changes to the beach he thinks we are all going to like. sounds exciting, I wonder what it is, anyone got any ideas?

My guess would be some cushions and hammocks for the beach.
We are going to email Oktay today to see if he wants anything bringing in. And to make sure he is picking us up at the changed flight time.
Will let you know when we get back, what the changes are.

Just had another thought, 
You don't suppose Oktay would have bought a load of sand from Cuba to put on the beach? I expect that is too much to ask for.

Hi there, hope you're right about hammocks and cushions down on the beach. That'd be really good. My wife's over on Monday for a week so we'll know by Tuesday evening what the changes are.
