Pernera closest - you can walk from Protaras and it takes about 20 minutes. You can go by the main road or by the beach. Too far to walk to Paralimni, but easy to get to in the bus.

What I shld also have asked..... which of the 2 has the most apts/rest/bars.

Pernera has lots of good bas and restaurants, lovely food as well. Walking into protaras is nice and you pass bars etc on the way. The scenic route around the coves walking by the sea is really nice of an evening.

Permera is a small resort attatched to Protaras ( most TO's class it as protaras) Paralimni is not a resort but is the administrative centre for the area bars are verry traditional (not mant women) the local tavernas are cheeper and of better quality than in the resorts it is also the local hub for bus services to Lanaca Lefkasia etc

I thought we walked to Paralimni from Pernera... (might have taken a while but we enjoyed the views etc)
