Can anyone give the me lowdown for Calangute, North Goa. I mean nightlife, Restaurants etc.
I am going for 28 days in December, staying at the Royal Village Beach Resort.
What's the Hotel like ? I have read a few reviews, but just want a simple few lines to describe it.

Went to South Goa last year and visited the Dentist in Benolim, what a fantastic saving in £££'s. Getting TWO Root Canals , a filling, two X-rays and clean & Polish + a couple of years supply of new toothbrushes for all under £100. Haven't had any problems since. WOW....meanwhile does anyone know if there is a good Dentist in Calangute ?

Just one more thing.... Does anyone know if we can hire an Indian Guide? For things like Wildlife/Historical tours.
