Any laundry shops in Goa so one can watch cloths? Thaks

There are loads of them, but a word of warning they are hand washed and they never come back the same colour as they went, they always seem to have a reddish tinge to them, due to the red dust every where. I find it easier to wash them my self.

Hi,

We used the Hotels Laundry Service which was CHEAP and the clothes were really clean and well pressed on their return AND best of all no washing / ironing when we got back to UK. Only 7 weeks till in Goa again. YIPPPPEEEE

I use the Snow White laundry in Candolim and have never had a problem there, its great to get everything done before you get home!!

Good to know about the laundry in Candolim cos thats where we are staying in November.
We normally stay at the marinha dourada and get all our laundry done there, its fabulous and so cheap. does anyone know if they do laundry at the Phoenix Park? If not I will take it the shop myself.

Gemma33, yes they do have a laundry service in the Pheonix Park, i used it myself when we were there last year, but this year i think we will be using the Snow White laundry as we are staying in a friends house.
i would recommend anyone to use the laundry service whenever possible, it saves you having to take to much clothing, which helps when your deciding what to wear befor you go out at night and means you can bring more back home with you. :wink:

Thanks Jayne thats good to know. The first time we went to Goa we took tons of clothes because we werent aware of the laundry service. Now we only take stuff for about a week and just get everything washed and it can be worn again in the second week. Its brilliant.

Hi Gemma Used the laundry twice at Phoenix Park once after the first week then at the end no problems, arrived home and put the clothes in the draw no washing machine going and no three lines of washing, just sat on the Patio with a nice glass of red wine each and talked about what a fantastic holiday it had been, :lol:

Thats why its so great to have it all done in Goa and come home with a case full of CLEAN clothes. But its good to know I can have it done at the Phoenix Park. We have never stayed at this hotel before so I was just wondering. Thanks again

Vell Wash on Baga Road is really good, several good reasons... 1. He's cheap, generally much cheaper than hotel prices... 2. He's really nice, has a great knack of remembering names.. 3. He's really honest... If you've accidently left money in your pockets he'll let you know and take it off your bill etc... He's great!

Right by the football pitch, cant remember specific prices but its really cheap,even gets your whites WHITE! We bring all our stuff back washed and ironed if you are putting a load in it usually takes two days but a couple of items is usually next day. :gluck
