where shall we stay/family of 5

hi we are thinking of going diy do any of you recommend anywhere for a family of 2 adults3 kids(15,11+6).We would prefer it to be located away from the main area but say within a 15 min walk to it,good entertainment and good food,decent pool and spotlessly clean,thanks for any help.

i have just bood ocean club in praia de luz. booked these because of two bed apartment! it is also close to resort so that my eldest who will be nearly 15 can entertain himself etc. no big kids club but three pools and all the usual trimmings, booked with thomas cook

Albufeira may be the area for you to look at - it's near to the airport and has plenty going on. There are some good reviews for some accommodation in that area ie Brisa Sol Aparthotel click here for reviews
