Hi MissJo and welcome to holidaytruths! We have some reviews of the hotel here. Looks good but a couple of reviews do mention a very slippery pool area.

hehe... yeah it seems ok... though we have to watch out for falling in to the pool... hehe

The Madara is at the top of the hill and on THIS MAP top right in column B.

i read that the food wasnt soo good??? at the madara- they have all inclusive- what i want to know is if we can count on eating out more or is the food ok???

How is yhe all incl.?? first time for us using it soo we dont know!!

There are plenty of reasonably priced good restaurants around, so eating out isn't a problem.

Have no idea what the food is like at the Madara, but you should find the breakfasts OK. We have in every hotel of all star ratings we have stayed at in Bulgaria.

I've had the same sort of breakfast in Russia and Yugoslavia, and to my mind it's very smorgasbord, but the are other choices.
