Please help - good 4* family hotel needed in paphos

Hi everyone

We are off to cyprus in may for a friends wedding - i have never been to cyprus so would like some advice as going through all the main holiday websites has just made me more confused

We would like a good standard 4*+ all inclusive in or around paphos (coral bay?) which is also a good family hotel for our 3 and 6 year old girls. In particular a good pool - for the kids (waterslides,fountains or some sort of water feature for them to play in??

i know im asking alot!!!) and nice pools for us grownups. And a good selection of food and drinks is also what we require, not too bothered about entertainment.

If anyone can recommend anywhere i would be very grateful and will investigate all options

We stayed at Crown resorts in Coral Bay when we went to a wedding a couple of years ago.It is in Thomsons brochure.We had stayed at the Ascos Coral Bay 10 months earlier and whilst this was AI I didnt think it was that nice as there were loads of cats roaming around.The Crown resorts has a nice pool area although we didnt use it as relatives had a bungalow just along the road.I would look through the review section for the latest reviews as it was in 2005 when we were there.Most of the other AIs are east of Pahos which is quite a way from Coral Bay.

The Phatheon Beach is a good family hotel too. No features though in the pool from what I can remember.

Why dont you check out our review section HERE and see if any of those help you.

Have narrowed it down to the riu cypria bay or if budget (my husband :lol:

) allows, the st raphael resort in limassol which just looks amazing!!!

Think we may have to go for the Riu as being the cheaper option!!! was considering the Avlida in paphos but after receiving a dismissive reply to an query i sent via email they have lost a customer! (and have also read some bad reviews on it since)

the cypria bay looked nice we were next to it last summer we stayed at the Ledra beach and although we enjoyed ourselves the reception staff weren't so nice, if we were to go back i would book the cyria bay
