                Hi

the Coma Gran Aparthotel in Sa Coma (Thomson) have 2 bedroom apartments. The have a code that they quote when you book, so you'd have to either ring Thomson direct or go into a travel agents and ask them to do it manually, and not by whats on the system

The Cristina Villas/Apartments in Cala Millor have two bedroom apartments (also a Thomsons holiday). I believe that Cala Millor is within walking distance of Sa Coma. We are going to the Cristina ourselves this year - first time for us but it does have some brilliant reviews.

Its a fair walk from Cala Millor to Sa Coma, but tourist train and local open top bus links the two resorts. We stayed at Cristina apartments a few years ago and had a great time .CBG

is flying from Aberdeen a problem?? When do you want to go, and for how long? Have you thought about booking the accom. separate to flights as your 2 bedroom options are more plentiful

Packages from Aberdeen are restricted to the Thomson/Portland group or Airours/Direct group. For separate flights and/or accomodation the only other alternative is Flyglobespan. Worth checking a diy if a suitable package can't be found.

                Hi again

going DIY, will cost you in the region of £1000 for the flights by the looks of things (only done quick searches). Thomson do flight only. If you look at someone like Medhotels, they do Bouganvilla Apartments in Sa Coma for approx £243 for the week. It all depends on you budget. I'd still give Thomson a ring and ask them to do some work searching for you

Thomson flights from Aberdeen - Palma at £200 per head? Please tell me where. They are normally at least £300 per person, more during school holiday times.

                Hi

quote for 19/10/07 with Thomson Fly for 2 adults and 3 children (over 2 years) was £1344.90.
The other searches were through Expedia and Charter airline websites. Some were as low as £800, but had 2+ stops!! Easyjet fly to Luton, then onto Palma for £1100 (approx)

Thanks for that info. I can see those flights now. They are for one week. The price for two weeks with Thomson jumps to over £1800 for flight only!! FGS prices are £925 for one week and £1175 for two.
I would totally disregard the non direct flights via Luton or London. They add hours to the journey. You may as well fly to Florida. A direct flight is essential especially with three children in tow.

How old are your kids? Flyglobespan treats them as adult price over 12. Looking at 2 ads 3 kids under 12 on Sat 13 October for a week came in at £1,204.00. Would be more if any kids are over 12. I am in Aberdeen, so well used to the lack of choice - we got good prices with Flyglobespan this year, but not in School holiday time.
I do DIY Majorca to Aberdeen and use wintersunshine holidays for accom -they have a good choice. I wouldn't pick cheaper flights with 2 stops - they are nightmareishly long if you are just going for a week.
Have also done the flight to Luton and then onwards, but found it cost quite a lot when you added up all the other expenses.
