i go fishing off the beach,would like to try a boat trip though

i caught and got stung by a weever fish last week,very painful,i think the spanish call them spider fish,3 hours of hurt

anyway,they are or the one that stung me the same shape as a mackeral,but lighter on top when they take the bait, they struggle a lot for a small fish
they live in the sand so only applies to inshore bottom fishing

now that would have been a good line in'CARRY ON FISHING'

it was from my boat,the one that stung me looked like a light coloured mackeral,but i was told? there are other types,the best way to avoid them is to go out a bit further nearer to rocks or deeper water

dont take this as gospel,having talked to a few locals since i got stung they were surprised i did not seek further medical treatment
