Hi Folks.

Well just got back from the annual visit to Bulgaria, stayed in Ravda this year in an apartment we booked over the net, found the apartment to be rather small but this was not surprising as for the last two years we stayed in a villa in Kosharista, but apart from that the holiday was much the same as any other year found prices to be a little higher than last year but again that was to be expected, still found it possible to get a beer for 1 lev cigs 39 for 200 and if you know where to eat the prices are still very cheap found a nice little bar/rest in Ravda just behind the main street if you go down towards Briz str, at the Hawai cocktail bar the bar is called Marina, they do a great English breakfast for 13 lev and also have Tetley tea for the people who can't seem to do without (English meals). shopping in the supermarkets is still cheap . The weather was dry with the temp sitting in the high 20s or low 30s except for Tuesday 23rd when an electrical storm decende on the area at about 2.30 am but this was amazing to watch although it felt as if the apartment was going to suffer some damage to windows with the strengh of wind that was blowing, still even that could not put us of and we are just now booking a short break in oct to try to sotrt out some property in a small village just outside Sofia so fingers crossed. :tup
