Suggestions for apartment in Villamoura or Carveoiro please

Hi there,

As package deals seem to be very expensive I'm looking for a DIY to the Algarve. I've found a flight with good times for the 1st of July but I've got a bit brain dead looking for an apartment as some of them seem to be in the middle of nowhere....

We'll have a toddler so don't want too much of a journey from the airport so we were thinking of Vilamoura or Carveoiro. I know there are a lot of people on here who go back year after year so I wondered if you have any suggestions?

Wish list -
1 bed apt with cot, full bathroom and aircon (if poss)
swimming pool and kids pool
close to beach and restaurants

Can anyone help?

We looked at those Titch but they seemed very expensive on the site we found them.

We have booked a 2 bed apartment in the Monte Dourado complex in Carveoiro.
