I'm just back from the Sun Palace (1.6. - 22.6.). I was in the 4-star-Part. The Hotel ist great. But there are no kettles.

Hi its me again two weeks today and i'll be on my way! can anyone tell us if the sunpalace has irons for hire at the hotel or if I take a travel iron what kind of adapter is it I need? I have a european one and an american one both are two pin but different voltage, also do they have laundry facilities ? what am i like supposed to be a holiday and Iam worrying about washing & ironing I know Iam a saddo!!!!

Hi louchris,

If you need to take an adapter it's the standard European 2-pin type (round pins) the power supply is nominally 220 volts but can, apparently, drop as low as 150 in the resorts in summer.

Hi All, I am booked to go to the sun palace hotel in september for 2 weeks. I would be grateful for any information you can give me with regarrds to the valus of the all inclusive and the hotel itself. I am travelling with my son who is special needs and he can have problems when it comes to eating so any information with regards to the food choice would be great help and also if it is really noisy at night with its position in sunny beach. I have travelled to bulgaria many times but first time in this hotel an part of sunny beach. My husband is Bulgarian so will have no problem with the language or anything like that.

Last year I was two times in the Sun Palace. This year I will spend my holidays there again.

But I have to say, in a German forum only 53 per cent of the people recommend this hotel. But I will go there the third time.

This year the hotel offers first time all inclusive, last year only BB and HB. No one knows, if it is good or not. I only booked HB.

No fear, enjoy jour holidays and don't search the shortcomings!

Has anyone returned yet from the sun palace in sunny beach. Can you give me any info on the all inclusive pack and is it good value for money. How did you find the hotel and staff.

I am now in the Sun Palace. There is something new: Animation for adults and children.

Stuff and food are ok.

Has anybody stayed at this hotel before?

I have been reading a lot of reviews on the internet and am starting to get a bit worried as most of them are saying to Avoid this Hotel

I'm just back from the Sun Palace (yesterday). I have read these reviews. I can understand that the people are angry. The hotel has two problems:

1.

UK-people can only book "all inclusive". I can book half board. I told the manager that I would change the hotel if I must book all inclusive. "All inclusive" in Sunny Beach? Never!!!

2.

This year there were for the first time people from "jum!". Jum! offers only holidays for young party-people. And this mix ist very bad: Families and party-people. (By the way: the same mix is in the Diamond. Families and always drunken young british people. As I heard, it must be the hell!)
The management must decide, what they want: Families or party-people.

I was in the 4-star part of the hotel. I have had no problems. One problem for others may be, that the most of the stuff don't speak any strange language. I speak some Bulgarian...
