I believe the 'Star Wars' trips are always two day, including an overnight stay elsewhere, and involved quite a bit of travelling on a coach.
We have been to PeK twice, and I would have loved to do that trip, but with toddler, it wasn't feasible, and I wouldn't have left the wife on her own for two days.
Incidentally, the Star Wars sets are at Matmata, not actually tatouine, even though that is an actual place in Tunisia.
Lukes underground home is the 'hotel sidi bou dris' (i think).

When I was in Tunisia 5 years ago, I visited two places where Star Wars was filmed, one was the hotel in Matmata and one was out in the desert near Tatouine where scenes from (I think) Episode1 were filmed. (Incidently parts of the film The English Patient where also filmed in the same general area).
Can't be much help on tours from PEK as the tour I was on was part of a ten day tour of the country.

We went to Matmata as part of a 2 day trip from Hammamet down to the Sahara & back, so not sure how it works from PEK, although a friend of mine who stayed at Sousse says a similar trip was on offer from there, but going north towards Tunis & Sidi Bou Said on the second day.
Thanks everyone will have a great time am sure
thanks again
thanks again
Tried to post again yesterday when the site was having problems, but I think from memory the two day trips which included seeing the Star Wars set remains, worked out about £80 per person.
Think it included visiting El Jem which is where the ampitheatre used in filming of 'Gladiator' is located, as part of the two days.
However, a single day trip to visit El Jem alone was also available, which worked out about £40 - 50 I think.
However, these were through the holiday compnay (JMC and Thomson), and similar trips may be able to be booked locally when you get to PeK.
Have a good time, if you go on the trips, and....
