TCX 2438 (MAN-CFU), the 767-300 does it come off a red eye in the early hours (Turkey) or is does it nightstop in Manchester after a busy day on the Sunday. I'm flying on it next week and just wondering whether or not to expect a slight delay etc.

Nick 1992,

TCX2438 arrives in the early hours then has a rest and a bit of maintenance then off again on it's next flight.

ccrider1uk,

The aircraft operating your flight comes in from one of several flights, most likely TCX2384/5 from PMI. The Emirates A380, flight EK17/8 arrives at 1225 and deprts at 1410 daily.

hi i have just returned from turkeywith thomas cook,i dont know what anybody elses opinion of this airline is but to say space is limited is an understatement, you can then imagine my dismay when the selfish inconsiderate oaf of a man sat in front of me reclined his chair fully once we had reached our altitude, left it fully reclined until our descent and had the cheek to tut when i struggled to get out to use the loo!!!!!my god i was blazing.Had the passenger asked would it be ok to recline my seat i would have cursed under my breath but have said yes out of politeness ,my other half was struggling too but he had an aisle seat so he could manouvere his legs a little.Am i being unreasonable here i could have reclined my seat but out of consideration for the passengers behind me didnt, i just find this to be one of the most selfish, infuriating things ever and think airlines should ban passengers from reclinig their seats unless it is an aboslute must.Might i also add iam 5"9 and my partner 6"1 had we been shorter i suppose it might not have been such an issue

Idris elba, we flew back to Newcastle last year from Dalaman and the girl behind me decided to have a sleep but with her legs tucked up against the back of my seat, everytime she moved the back of my seat moved aswell it was the longest 4 1/4 hours i have ever spent on a plane. However it could have been worse, my wife was not sitting next to me as we booked in late and somebody put a bottle of spirits in the overhead locker which fell on her head when another passenger opened it during the flight! :duh .

dinner-lady,

It's an ex-MYT A330-200 (they are all the same inside). I'll need a flight number to look at the flight before as there are a couple of flights per week so I need to know which you're on. Is it the TCX126/7?

Hi Darren,
Regarding OY-VKF vs G- exMYT, other than cloth vs leather seats, are there any other differences?
Thanks as per usual.

OY-VKF has the same seats as the rest of the ex-MYT fleet. The only difference is it has scandinavia written on the side of the aircraft.

would i be able to put in a medical request for the bulk head medical seats on a thomas cook flights?

i have severe asthma and need to get medication quickly at times, i have a fit to fly from the dr so im able to fly... i also have knee damage which results in me not being able to sit in a knee bent position for long periods so need to be able to sit with legs out to a point...

how do i go about asking?

I would contact the airline direct. Ring 0844 855 0515 or email TCHDPreTravelAdmin@thomascook.com and they will be able to tell you where their medical seats are located, and also check availability.

Thanks Flyboy, We had G-WJAN Outbound because of a problem with our original plane, They coached half the passangers to Leeds Bradford.
Today on return we had G-TCCB and we arrived nearly 2 hours late because of air traffic restrictions and passengers turning up late on the flight before, I booked row 11 and it had no window but fortunately we were moved ;)

Thanks!
