rachie-m,
I assume they are long haul flights? LGW-Punta Cana-LGW (TCX216/7)? Flights are operated by Airbus A330-200. The old premum seats are expected to be removed at the end of the summer season.
Darren
flying (hopefully) on Sat, Gat to San TCX172. Do you think there will be any problems with Hurricane Irene? It shoild hopefully have passed by the time we land on Sat, but could flights from San on Fri to Gat be affected, resulting in delays and/or cancellations?
Any idea on such occurences?
Thanks
I'm not a meterologist I'm afraid! You'll just have to wait and see what happens and contact your airline / check on the website for any updates if it's expected to be around when you fly. It's possible there could be knock-on effects but you'll just have to keep an eye on things.
Darren
Fair enough, any idea where TCX172 is coming in from prior to Sat? Will it just be the same plane returning from San?

Looking at the projected track I doubt Irene will cause any disruption to air travel. You can see the projected track herehttp://www.nhc.noaa.gov/graphics_at4.shtml?5-daynl#contents which shows it well off to the east.

Thanks Darren, yes! I wonder why they are selling these seats when they plan to remove them?
Hi Darren, confused which size plane hope you can help. TCX 244 to Puerto Plato (Dom/rep) 19th Oct 2011 and TCX 127 (return) from Manchester. Regards - Sue
sue ludlam,
Thomas Cook TCX8416 / TCX8417 to Larnaca from Leeds / Bradford
Any details on the plane? Is there any seats to upgrade to?
It's normally an Airbus A320-200. All seats are economy. The only 'upgrade' is extra legroom.
Darren
wow that was quick
Hi Darren, need you help re: TCX244 to Puerto Plata (pop) from Manchester 19th Oct 2011 returning TCX127 2nd Nov. I think it's A330 but not sure. Also we could only upgrade on return flight??????? just wondered if you know the configuration? Thanks - Sue
Thank you so much for the info Darren Regards - Sue
TCX2148 MAN-SSH 25/10/11
TCX2613 SSH-MAN 01/11/11
I'm pressuming the smallest aircraft that Thomas Cook will use on this is the 757-200. However with thomson using a 737-800, i'm expecting one to be A320/32.
Thanks for your reply in advance,
Nick
Nick 1992,
You've previously told us that we're travelling on a B752 thanks, but I just want to check with you please what difference in seat WIDTH the exit seats have due to the tables being in the arm rests? I travelled Ryanair recently in the first row with the table in the arm rest and although my bum and top of thighs were quite squashed in I wasn't actually all that uncomfortable - just wondering how those seats with TC airlines compare with, say, Ryanair's? Are they all that standard width in economy? I'm not that large, just when I sit down my untoned bum and thighs spread outwards haha!
Thanks.
Exit row seats are a little narrower than the standard seats due to the tray tables being positioned in the arm rest. There's not that much in it though, maybe 1/4 inch. The seats are pretty much the same as on the Ryanair aircraft in terms as width. The standard seat width is approximately 16.5 inches, 16.25 inches on the extit rows.
Darren
Oh that's good to hear, thanks for the quick reply Darren. Having read my post back, I wonder if I needed to go into that much detail
