Flight Only / Airline and Airports

Just unchecked it and it says there are no holidays available but I should check flight + hotel. When I go there, once I have input Stansted I get absolutely zilch.

I'll wait and see what info Darren can come up with as I have always found I can rely on him. I have no wish to phone them and run up a bill, especially as I've never found their staff to be particularly reliable on the phone. What I find particularly strange is that when I first booked I was simply looking for something around that date and would have preferred a Saturday flight, but only the Wednesday one was on offer

It's bringing up plenty of packages on 22nd. I've only looked at 7 night hols but that won't make any difference because they're selling the 22nd as packages so flight obviously still operating, and the 5th November as flight only.

If I look at flight and hotel it won't give me any, but that I presume is because the allocation of flight only seats has been fully booked on 22nd October.

Thanks Darren, you're a star, they're the times I've got, though actually I'd have been quite happy if they'd changed to Saturday flights as they'd have suited me better. :)

carl m,

I thought you were looking at the ones above? You must be looking at every flight operated to Tunisia!! Is the bit when you actually get to Tunisia not more important than the aircraft you fly on?!!

MAN-NBE-MAN (TCX2342/3) are operated by Boeing 757-200.

Thanks Daz.

We've decided on Port El Kanataiou. We just had to decide on the day and I have a fussy other half who wanted to go on the 767 so that's how we picked the day. It's booked now and thanks for your help.

A long way ahead I know but we have booked seats on TCX 472 MAN to MCO 29th August 2015, return on 12th September, TCX 273.
Looking at the Thomas Cook website the seating plan is all 2-4-2 in economy. Last time we went on a a TC A330 it was 3-4-3 and 2-4-2 nearer the back. I know that they have an ex BMI A330 with the 2-4-2- layout but are all the TC fleet being refitted with the same layout?
Want to book seats but already some have gone!

Also do Thomas Cook still do day before check in at MAN?

Thanks in advance

Currently they have one in 2-4-2 which narrows to 2-3-2 and the others are in 3-3-3 and they also narrow to 2-3-2. By the start of next Summer they will all have been refurbished and be in 2-4-2, narrowing to 2-3-2.. You can still do Sundown check in. It's currently £5 a bag.

The flights have been on sale for a few months which is why some seats have already been allocated.

Thanks Sunaddict for the reply.

Another couple of question regarding TC. The seat plan showing the 2-4-2 layout has, towards the rear a blanked out section in the middle of the rows of 3, Do you know what is in this area.

and

do any the A330 still have the downstairs toilets?

Thanks again

If it has a premium cabin, although it may say its unavailable, it has downstairs toilets. The blanks in the centre seats at the rear of the aircraft aren't actually there. It's just the way the online plan copes with putting three seats instead of four.

roadrunner,

The ex-MYT aircraft (G-OMYT, MDBD & MLJL) have toilets downstairs. The ex-Bmi are on the main deck.
