tinymcfc,
I've never heard you aren't permitted to lift an arm rest. Regardless of the seat you are in, you're going to have the same issues so it's personal preference ultimately.

I'm flying from Gatwick this sunday to Cancun on TCX87K on the outbound flight and TCX87L on the return, is still scheduled to be operated by the Airbus A330-200? Does anyone also know if they've taken the screens off the back of the seats yet, maybe someone might have done this journey recently?
Thanks in advance!!

I think I misled you in what I actually meant. When I flew to Vegas this year (may) I was sat near the back of the plane but in standard seats (not exit) and yu couldnt move the armrests, neither could you in seats around us. We thought this was standard. Got to near the front of the plane (not premium) and all armrests were lifted, i confused us as to why you could move the armrests on certain seats?
Last question, I just realised that the plane home is different to that of which we are going, I just presumed they#d be the same lol. The flight home is TCX454L - can you tell me which aircraft this will be?
Thanks again.
Is the registration of TCX041 (LGW-CUN) for 12 Oct known yet ?
Are they still offering seat back TV's and inflight entertainment on long haul next Summer?

It's way too early to know aircraft registration for flights in October! It'll be one of the ex-MYT airframes; G-OMYT, G-MLJL or G-MDBD. But that's as far as we can say up to the day before.

I am flying on the following flight- LGW-DLM-LGW (TCX596K/L) are operated by a Boeing 757-200 and i believe normally the leased Aurela aircraft.
Can you tell me the difference between the Aurela aircraft and the usual Thomas Cook B752's.
Many Thanks
I know Thomas cook have stopped IFE on narrow bodied aircraft but can you still plug your headphones in the armrests?
Welcome onboard

Your flights are indeed operated by a Aurela Boeing 757-200. There's no difference really, seat pitch and configuration are the same.

shazajo,
Dazbo
Thank you mike
Some time ago I mentioned that I had booked a Thomas Cook flight considerably cheaper via the Thomson's website and it even included hold baggage, which had to be added separately if booked via TC itself. Today the tickets have arrived and not only does it include 20kg of hold luggage rather than the usual 15kg, but much to my surprise it also includes in-flight meals so a result all round!!
Thanks for the info.
Can you tell me where the plane comes (and flight number) in from prior to forming TCK596K please?
Many Thanks
The aircraft normally operates TCX59MG before yours. I'm not sure what that callsign relates to in terms of destination (they haven't used flight numbers as call signs for a while now making it hard work

what should i do? do i need this? ill tried ringing thomas cook to no avail!!!! aaaaaaaaaah
im going sunday
Just a thought, but could you go back into "Your Seat Your Choice", input your reference number again and see what comes up? A lot of the companies have a "Manage Your Booking" section but I can't see one on TC. Failing that, you could try e-mailing them. I had a quick look at their 'Help' section but it only seems to relate to the API form.
Assuming you are flight only, all you need is a booking reference number and your passport to check-in. You don't need a seat confirmation email as all your details are held electronically.
