It doesn't matter, everything is held electronically on their system so you'll get your seats.
Darren
Don't worry jonny. As Darren says, they are held electronically and you've seen them on screen so they will presumably be printed on your boarding card.
excellent! thanks alot darren, Again!!
As you probably won't have a Thomas Cook booking reference, I doubt you'll be able to use online check-in.
Darren
I thought that Darren but there was no harm in hoping!!
We have booked a holiday with Thomas Cook through a travel agent, when we booked the holiday we paid £15 a person to prebook our seats.
I have entered our details onto the Thomas Cook Airlines website and selected our seats, but when I went through to the confirmation screen it says I have to pay £15 a person to book them.
Do I have to wait to select my seats because I booked through a travel agent?
If you've pre-booked seat, this isn't the same as select your seat. Pre-booked seats just means you'll be allocated seating together. If you want to select your specific seat, thats an extra change and can be done once your flight is loaded on to the system.

Thanks for the reply Darren but .....
We went on holiday last month and when we booked the holiday at the travel agents we pre-booked our seats, when the tickets arrived it said we could log into the Thomas Cook Airlines website and select our seats which I did and it cost nothing.
I booked a holiday last night on the Thomas Cook website and there was no option to pre-book your seats, so I entered all our details into the Thomas Cook Airlines website and was able to select our seats again it cost nothing.
This is why I don't understand why it's asking me for £15 per person for my other holiday.
Please be advised, that if booking an ultimate style holiday or indeed any holiday which have a 'your seat, your choice' on it as a freebie, it will only be free if you book within 99 days of travel. If, for peace of mind, you decide to pre book your seat choice outside of the 99 days you will be charged the applicable price.
Darren or anyone else please can you help me

Aircraft information is on our What Aircraft? guide (link below), specifically under the long haul section for Thomas Cook.

Do TXC have a day before check in at Gatwick? If I do the online check in, can I drop the bags in the day before?
Do you not know the specific aircraft ie G-OJMC for that flight. Again MAN - CCC 5th May 11' TCX174 / TCX175
