Didnt realise how popular Dalaman is!!
Was checking flights for MAN-DLM for yesterday and TOM have all three of their SH 767's on the route
TOM 714 (MAN) G-OBYE
TOM 496 (MAN) G-OBYH
TOM 896 (LGW) G-OBYF
There are also another 11 Thomson flights and 6 Thomas Cook flights between 13:00 and 14:00ish!!
Following on from this, I'm a little worried about how busy it is going to be at Dalaman. Looking at the arrival for Dalaman there are 9 arrivals between 13:00 and 13:30. Is it a big airport, are we going to be stuck at immigration for hours??
Thanks

pallan,

Turkey has been a very popular holiday destination for quite some time. It can be a little mad once you get to DLM at certain times giving long queues at the visa desk and immigration / passport control. If you arrive at the wrong time, it can take an hour to get to baggage reclaim. You'll find lots of information over on the Turkey Forum, specifically the Dalaman Airport ... facilities, prices, Q&As topic.

wilkini123,

I'm mobile at the moment so I'll double check for you later, but it's likely to be a Boeing 737-800. You'll find a seating plan as well as extensive aircraft information on our What Aicraft? guide (link below).

EDIT: confirmed aircraft type.

Am on holiday to PoP on Friday from Manchester.

Just had a look on Thomson site and when trying to book my flight it says the following...

we couldn't find any flights that match what you asked for. We suggest you try searching again using different dates or airports. Alternatively, view our flight timetable.

Does that mean its full? I hope they've not cancelled it, though it still shows on the timetable, just cannot book it. No other flights on that date to other destinations come up with this message, surely mine can't be the only one full?

Just done a quick dummy booking and it's coming up ok. Says there is one seat left.

Sunaddict....

Cheers, I see the same. I understand why it wasn't working now as I was searching for 2!

Glad to see it was just me being daft as per usual.

Panic over.

Hello. 737 to Sharm, poss 6.5hrs. I appreciate that an airline wouldn't operate outside safety perimeters but, that has to be on the limits of it's range, hasn't it?

iwb100,

You'd have been informed if the flight had been changed or cancelled. There are only so many flight only seats available so the flight is sometimes removed when it's full or the allocation isn't available. Just because a flight isn't showing on the website for booking doesn't mean it's been changed or cancelled. Have a great holiday and stop worrying! :cheers

strid,

It's within the endurance range for the 73H. The maximum range with wingleted aircraft is 3,060nm, MAN-SSH is 2,220nm. The type wouldn'd be used on that route otherwise. The BBJ2 varient can do upwards of 5,000nm! Don't worry, you won't run out of fuel over the Med :cheers

Hi Darren,
Are you able to let me know what the tv programming is for the TOM2334 flight M/cr - Larnaca 15th June,
would like to know what films I can expect to watch.
Also I am prebooking my seats, at the minute I have been put on row 47, and I can't think of anything worse,
so I'm looking to change to maybe row 35 seat A&B, my main question for my hubby really is will we be served first or last for drinks,
I know its an odd and no really relavent question but would live to know if you can help.
Many Thanks
Keeley

keels71,

IFE information is linked on our What Aircraft? guide. You'll probably be served somewhere in the middle for on that row for drinks but I'm sure they won't let you dehydrate!

I just got the usual email from Thomson telling me that the seat plan was now open for booking for my flight to Cyprus in August (ie nearly three months ahead!). I always pay to pre-book my seat when booking my holidays.

Within no more than 5 minutes after getting the email, I logged on to book my seat, and found that already nearly one third of the seats on the plane have been already chosen!!

I still managed to get my seat of choice, but it's surprising just how popular seat pre-booking now is.

thats because some are not available to reserve and the seat plan will actually have been open for 7 days online and 30 days via the telephone

I pre-booked our seats for cyprus travelling in August too. I haven't received an e mail yet, but out of curiosity I logged on and I only had the choice of 6 rows, so I booked there and then. Luckily all the available seats were between rows 8 and 14, exactly where I wanted to be.
