TOM144 is showing as departing as scheduled at the moment. The inbound aircraft is on-time too, so no delays currently.
Darren
Thanks Darren great info as usual, looks like we'll be home on schedule
have just noticed that one of the longhaul flights from gatwick is running a day late, TOM 035, how does this affect the schedule and what measures have they got to get it back on schedule. we fly wednesday lgw-azs tom 048, hoping this won't affect our flight.
It will cause knock-on delays for a few days with flights operated by that aircraft while they catch up.
Darren
what aircraft is it
gooner1970,
Just tracked Tom 060 this morning and it's showing Ph-OYI online! This is coming up as an Arkefly plane. What's the odds I'm going to end up on this next Sunday. What can you tell me about this aircraft? ie seat pitch, configuration, IFE etc! Thank you!! X
Racegirlx
If you haven't been notified of a change, you won't be on that aircraft. PH-OYI is in the same configuration as the short haul 76W's but with no seat back IFE.
Darren
How far in advance would they let us know? We booked our hols with Cruisedeals, so would they phone?
Don't fancy going all the way to Dom Rep on a short haul configuration as I am tall! X

For some of the planned ones, it was up to 2 months. If it's a last minute change due to a technical problem for example, you'll normally be told at check-in. The Arkfly are planned changes though as far as I know. The short haul configured aircraft aren't as bad as you imagine. Remember, these were the norm for Thomsonfly up to 2008, it hasn't always been like that. First Choice (before the merger) raised the bar when they introduced Star Class in late 2005. I've been across the pond on them many times and although they are far from ideal, they weren't all that bad. You just had to get up and have a strech of your legs more often. Many of the scheduled airlines only offer 31" seat pitch on trans-atlantic services in economy. We're spoilt with 33"!
EDIT: Just looking at the ACARS log for TOM060 this morning, it's operated by G-OOBK, not PH-OYI
Darren
Hi Darren could you tell me please which aircraft registration is flying TOM2731 Paphos to Manchester today. It departed this morning as TOM2730.
It's a little early yet, I don't have all the ACARS logs for this morning yet. i'll keep looking. Are you coming back on the TOM2731?
Darren
Hi Darren, yeah returning from Paphos today on TOM2371.
Dazbo,
there seems to be more problems at lgw with the longhaul aircraft. inbound flight cancelled and others delayed for tomorrow, can anyone shed any light on whats happening
I'm mobile at the moment so don't have everything to hand. I assume it's the flight running a 24 hour delay you're looking in and the knock-on effects from it. I believe there was a technical problem.
Darren
Do you know what actual plane will be used this Friday on flight TOM 062 Gatwick to Cancun?
Many thanks
aprehensiveflyer,
Many thanks! I was only going to look up the plane and no doubt start fretting so probably just as well!
