Any information on our flights

and
TOM637

would be appreciated eg aircraft type etc etc Thanks

They are using an ex t-fly 767 for this flight. It
Is configure 283- so 37" in premium and 33" in economy in a 2-3-2/2-4-2 layout.

It will be ph-oyi previously g-obyi. It is on lease for three yrs to arkefly and is still in Thomson airways configuration.

Thanks for this - I had a letter within my recently received confirmation saying the seat pitch is 30" - is it the same type of aircraft for both flights ( outward and inward ) please ? Indeed is it the same one !! ( I appreciate aircraft can get substituted at the last minute but the flight is sold out so if the aircraft changes it has to have at least the same number of seats or else someone is sitting with the pilot ..... or not going !!! ). :rofl

If it remains ph-oyi does it still have the seat back entertainment etc as far as you know please.

Thanks :)

HuddersfieldTourist,

It's the same aircraft with the same configuration (ex-TOM) as posted above.

Sorry Huddersfield Tourist,

Just checked the latest information about your flight, The outbound to Tenerife is not showing as operating by a non TA aircraft - usually it will be either a 757 or the scheduled 767 that would operate your long haul flight on the inbound.

The inbound has been changed to a regular Arkefly aircraft- this is slightly different to the Tfly aircraft- although has 2-3-2 layout similar to the ex-FCA aircraft. I have tried to find some information but the only info I can find relates to the the ex-tfly 767's. The IFE is overhead I think - only going on some of the older photo's on airliners.net

Sorry about the confusion, there is another NCL-BGI flight operated by the aforementioned tfly aircraft.

Have you any idea yet the tpye of aircraft will be used for TOM388 to Hurghada on the 13th Jan

rosedene,

It should be a Boeing 757-200 but I'll be able to confirm it closer to the time.

lattridge,

When are you flying? Assuming it's the winter season, it's normally an Airbus A321-200 on the Monday flight.

Darren

Hi darren, thanks for the reply. Sorry, we fly 28/11 next month. Is the A321 similar size plane to the 757?

Thanks

Hi all in the know

Will be flying to cape verde and did wonder if, in the light of IFE ceasing on short haul from November whether this route being 6 hours+
would be retaining its IFE, food for thought or not as meals are going as well.

Regards

Joe

lattridge,

They are pretty much the same, yes. There's only 2 rows of seats in it with the same configuration.

Joe3400,

Cape Verde is a short haul destination, not a long haul and operared by Boeing 757-200. There's therefore no mainscreen IFE from November. Although pre-bookable meals are being withdrawn, food is available on flights. If you look on the What Aircraft? guide and click on the link to the inflight magazine, the details are in there.

Thanks again - have you any idea at what stage the actual aircraft will be confirmed please for our flights NCL to TFS and then Bridgetown to Newcastle

It will either be PH-AHQ/X on the BGI-NCL flight. I will know closer to the time about the outbound flight.

I am flying to Goa in December; we travel on the day before my husband's birthday and I would like to take a bottle of champagne (bought in duty free) with me on the plane. We usually travel to Goa around his birthday (with Monarch), but notice from the Thompson website it says that you cannot take liquids of over 100mls on board. When I go into their link of what you can take, it suggests that you can take this sort of thing on board in your hand luggage.

Should I take a chance and buy one to take it with me?
