CalamityJane,

I'll know for sure which 767-300/ER it'll be in about 2 weeks time, but should be an ex-FCA.

Calamityjane:-

It will be an ex-Fca.

It operates on an ex-Tom for November only.

It's not November yet! I don't update the IFE listing until the 1st of the month as the current listing is valid until Tuesday still.

Hi Darren,

Flying Manchester - Cancun on Tuesday (TOM122). Will flights be back to normal following the disruption of tropical storm Rina or can I expect some delay/change of aircraft type?

Can you please confirm where the aircraft flies in from prior to our flight.

Thanks

gc,

You'll just have to see what happens, I would hope flights are back to normal by then. The aircraft should be arriving from Aruba (TOM157, more than likely) or Cancun (TOM175).

Hi  ,

I'm flying to Cape Verde on Dec 15th and returning on Jan 2nd (TOM216) (TOM447), I tried to do a little research myself looking at previous posts and I think we are traveling on a 757-200. I know from previous flights there, we travel on old First Choice planes and it's a 3-3 seating plan...
I reserved my seats and have put us in row 10 outbound but having seen several seating plans (and getting very confused!), I am now worried that rows 10,11 & 12 are possibly windowless rows (?)
By luck of the draw we have always been placed in the first 4 rows of the plane so I am unsure if this is true or not..

My questions are:
1. Am I correct it's a 757-200?
2. Does row 10 have windows?
3. Any idea how I can find out what the new food/drink options/prices are for their short haul flights?
4. Did I read correctly that there will be no more ife on ALL short haul flights? We're 6hrs there and 5hrs back so classed as 'midhaul' I think(?)

If anyone has read this far and can decifer my longwinded questions, I'd be grateful for the help - thanks!

SheWhoLovesTravel,

Welcome onboard :tup
Flights to Cape Verde are indeed operated by Boeing 757-200. Row 10 has a window, row 11 doesn't but it depends on the aircraft assigned on the day as there are slight differences across the 757 fleet (ex-TOM and ex-FCA). You'll find extensive aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below) including a link to the inflight magazine where available food (page 6), drinks (pages 4-5) and snacks (pages 7-9) are given. As of next week, there's no IFE on short / medium haul flights. PSP's are available for hire at £7.50 per flight with pre-loaded movies and games (page 3 including listings).

Thanks once again.

Hi,
Can anyone tell me the possible flight arrival at LGW which becomes Departure TOM 4146 LGW to SPC tomorrow 31/10/11 and what aircraft it will be.
Thanks
Reply
wasginge,

LGW-SPC-LGW (TOM4146/7) are operated by Boeing 737-300. The aircraft should be operating LGW-CFU-LGW (TOM4102/3) or Naples (TOM4100/1) beforehand.

Thanks again Darren,

Lets hope the flights are back to normal, is there anyway of checking or is it just matter of turn up and see?
Will keep on eye on both incoming flights for punctuality.

All the best

gc,

Just keep a lookout on the arrival and departures board for the airport. Even if the flight is delayed (but hope it isn't), you still need to check-in at the time as if the flight was running to schedule.
