kidsrus,

Welcome onboard :tup
IFE for Jan / Feb hasn't been released yet. I'll update the link from our What Aircraft? guide (link below) when I get it. I posted examples of meals here. You'll receive a hot meal approximately 2 hours after take off that is usually a choice of chicken or beef, and a snack approximately 90 minutes before landing.

Hi David I posted a question a few months ago and was wondering if you could tell me about the aircraft i will be going on to cancun on 18/04/12 with thomsons from Gatwick. Aircraft id would be great and layout and where the aircraft will be coming from. I know it is alot to ask but you seem to be the man in the know lol Thanks in advance.

Hi David ...... I know it is alot to ask but you seem to be the man in the know lol

That will probably make Dazbo (Darren) either laugh or cry, but hopefully he will still be able to help you out when he is next online. :wink

paul_arnell23,

Please quote flight numbers when requesting aircraft information as there are often multiple flight. This ensure we get the correct infornmation for you. Are you on the LGW-CUN-LGW (TOM048/9)? They're operated by ex-First Choice Boeing 767-300/ER. You'll find extensive aircaft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below). Specific aircraft are rotated pretty much weekly so I'll not know the registration until the day before. It makes little difference in any case as all but one are identical inside. The aircraft operates LGW-Montego Bay (MBJ)-LGW (TOM030/1) the day before.

Julmops,

LGW-MBJ-LGW (TOM030/1) are operated by ex-First Choice Boeing 767-300/ER. There isn't a flight immediately prior to it. It's normally TOM054/5 on the Sunday (LGW-MLE-LGW) with a rest day period the Monday. G-OOBL is on that rotation this week so unless there's a last minute change, should be your aircraft on Wednesday. It makes little difference, all but G-OOAN are the same inside.

Good stuff ! Thanks Darren !
That will be a first as I've been on OOAN, PJLO and DBLA before ...

Julmops,

Assuming it's G-OOBL, it's no different to G-PJLO / G-DBLA apart from having winglets. I've been on them all, several times!

For the plane freak I am, trust me it does ;-) I will be able to add this airframe to my list :D

While I'm there, still any news from the IFE list for Jan-Feb ?

Julmops,

I'm just in the process of updating the What Aircraft? guide. Give me 10 minutes.

Hi just wonderig if anyone can tell me when flights are organised and scheduled, Ive been on the Thompson website and looking at Majorca in September there's only 1 flight and it's a night flight. Is it possible there all fully booked already, surly not!? It's the same a couple weeks before and after, maybe it's a problem with the site, I've checked on diff days and it's still the same. Or is it correct Nd they have yet to realise the flight details: anyone any idea? thanks

linzi_lou,

Flight schedules are put together in excess of 12 months ahead of schedule. If what you're looking for is not on their website for September, it's unlikely anything will become available. It might be worth trying a different airline.

Hi Darren, just booked our seats for our Sharm el Sheikh holiday 19.3.12 on Flight TOM754/5
There were 41 rows on the plan, is this the 757 as you originally thought?
Also, we have booked seats 7A/7B out and 8A/8B return. Do you know if these seats actually have windows and not just a blank wall?

Sorry if this info in on the What Aircraft guide. I did look but couldn't find it.

Thanks in advance.

jmac,

That's correct, a Boeing 757-200. The rows you've selected have windows. It's row 11 that doesn't.
