Myself & my husband are flying from Gatwick to Hurghada on April 27th.I understand it will be a short haul plane and am thinking it will be a Boeing 737-800?

These are showing as operated by a Boeing 757-200 / Boeing 737-800 respectively. Seating is personal preference. There are no seats to avoid as they all offer the same basic facilities other than extra legroom seating. All I would say is avoid the rows near to toilets to avoid being disturbed by queing passengers. You'll find extensive aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).
