When I tried to book 6A and 6C the site would not let me book them saying the seats had to be together. I then phoned and booked the seats over the phone with no problems. Has anybody else had this problem?
Yes I had the same problem myself back in early Sept trying to book seats in PC. I was in Nice at the time & it was 1am local time but a quick PM to the Thomson FB team sorted it out & so we are sitting in 1G/J.
I believe it's quite a common problem, & so very frustrating!

Yes same problem here too and if you read the Thomson page on Facebook - you will see you are not alone! I really think they should have sorted it by now! Its so annoying that you have to then phone a premium number!
there are a few alternative numbers rather than phoning the advertised premium one .

Flying to Goa Feb 8th TOM 52 & returning March 2nd TOM53. Does anyone know if it will be on a 787 or 767.
Thankyou Darren
Hi - first time I have used this forum so hope I'm in the right place.
We are travelling PE from Gatwick to Montego Bay on 24th March 2014. I know we cant select our seats until 90 days before we fly but wondered if anyone knows how I can find out what plane we are likely to be on so that I can do some seat research. I have tried seat guru and other sites but they're not making very much sense to me - probably much more my fault than theirs!
I'm not too sure if we will be on a Dreamliner going out - our return flight is on 8th April 2014.
Many thanks for any help and advice - have never flown PE before so really dont want to male a silly mistake on seat selection.

Looking at Thomsons website, it appears to be a 767 outbound, and 787 inbound.
Thanks sunaddict - thats a great help x
Can anyone advise when I will be able to go online and select PE seats? We are booked as a package holiday through Thompson. When I go online to manage my booking it comes up as First Choice. We are flying with Thompson Airways on 24th March.
The Thompson airways site seems to indicate we should be able to select seats 90 days before departure. The First Choice site seems to be implying we wont know our details until 6 weeks before departure. Confused!
Any help would be very appreciated thanks

Its 90 days before your return flight. First Choice and Thomson are the same company.
Thanks for your help - I realise they are the same company it was just the differing information on the two sites that was confusing.
Thanks again

JoolzB; you are looking at two different elements of your flight - when you select your seat that's just where you are due to sit on the aircraft - available ~ 90 days before date of return.
The six weeks before figure is when the actual departure time/date is supposed to be "fixed in stone"-but as most people know departure time can be altered after that 6 week date . Some people have reported noticing a changed departure time when they receive their tickets, which can be as late as a few days before flight.

delteach,
LGW-BGI-LGW (TOM034/5) are operated by Boeing 787-8. Aircraft type will be clear once the seat plans opens.
