Hi
I'm flying 22nd Sept 11 Manchester to Cancun (TOM104) in premium. Is it too soon to find out if the aircraft may be a Thomson or ex-FCA.
Thank you
MAN-CUN-MAN (TOM104/5) should be operated by an ex-FCA Boeing 767-300/ER. I can double check for you closer to the time.

Darren, apologies if I have asked before, what aircraft will fly Newcastle to Cancun on 270511 and back 100611 ? Have booked premium seats and chosen seat numbers. Will it be ThomsonFly or FCA ?
plodski,
How do I find out how many seats are left on a particular flight without phoning the airline?
Thanks again,
Pat
Thanks again Darren for your quick reply ....... appreciated!
how many seats are left on a particular flight
However, going to the airline website and doing a trial booking for maybe a dozen seats will usually indicate whether the flight is jam packed full.
Just remember to back out without putting your credit card number in!

I am flying from Gatwick to Zante TOM4730 3/7/11 and returning TOM4731 10/7/11. Is it too early to know what type of plane it will be.
Thanks.
Tabby.
Thank you in advance, Sparky123.
I'm still waiting for a copy of the full S11 schedule, but MAN-LPA-MAN (TOM2676/7) should be operated by a Boeing 757-200.

I'm still waiting for a copy of the full S11 schedule, but LGW-ZTH-LGW (TOM4730/1) should be operated by a Boeing 757-200.
Darren
Thanks a lot Darren.
For once, this isnt a What A/C am I on etc question. I have one that might rack your noddle a bit more.
Without wanting to go into too many details, what is Thomson's policy on bringing your own Polycarbonate glasses on board? I no BAA/CAA say no glassware is allowed on board, but what about those plastic ones you get in clubs etc?
Part of the reason I ask is that I once got given a recycled plastic disposable glass on a flight (not Thomson I add!), when I say recycled I mean it had be previous'y used on the outbound flight!
Cheers

Welcome onboard

I can't see any reason why you wouldn't be permitted to take unbreakable 'glasses' onboard since they are plastic rather than glass. It all comes down to are they able to be manipulated to create a sharp edge, as glass can be. I can't see any reason why not. Are you thinking for drinks inflight? I often think the amount of plastics used is a bit of a waste and there may be better alternatives, same with some of the hotels that use disposable plastic cups when there are better and environmentally sensitive ways. I often take my own thermal mug on holiday partly to keep drinks cool in the sun but also to minimise the use of the plastic cups that get used one, then throw away. A complete waste. I can't say I've ever come across reused ones the way you describe inflight, I'm sure that will have been a mistake.

Did you manage to find out which particular 767 Boeing aircraft type our flight will use Dazbo ?
We fly TOM 126 from Manchester to Punta Cana - 29/04
Rotterdam.
TOM126/7 should be an ex-TOM. The flights commence on 8th April so I won't be able to confirm it until then. You can check it yourself if you log on to the seat selection page, it should show a 2-4-2 seating plan.
Darren
So it should be (pray I get this right) a 'Boeing 767-304er (winglets)'type then with 283 seats ?
Rotterdam.
