Hi - I am flying to Mahon from Manchester with Thomson on 11th June - any idea of what aircraft I can expect, knowing my luck it will be a 757, not a great fan of them but it is only 2 hours.
Thanks
baldyman26,
The 757-200 is an excellent aircraft, a sports car of airliners! Please supply flight numbers when requesting aircraft information as there are several flights to MAH. This ensure we get the correct information for you. I'm assuming you're on the TOM2608/9 or TOM2656/7? It should be a 757-200.

I totally agree with Dazbo, the 757 esp with Rolls Royce engines are a fantastic aircraft. The take offs from a short runway are a real push in the back. They are a very safe aircraft as well, you are lucky if you go on a 757.
By the way it is not the 757's fault if the airlines push the seats too close together. They say we want cheap flights so they cram us in!

Garry_Nutter,
Flights to Egypt are classed as short (medium) haul. MAN-TCP-MAN (TOM292/3) are operated by a Boeing 757-200. You'll find extensive aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

weecarol,
MAN-BJV-MAN (TOM532/3) should be operated by a Boeing 767-304/ER (winglets, 328 short haul). You'll find extensive aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

jackmax,
I'm assuming you're on the NCL-CUN-NCL (TOM392/3)? The aircraft should be inbound from Sanford (TOM670/1).

Hey,
We are flying on to Holguin on the 16th Aprill 2011 from manchester (TOM 0182). You helped me with the type of aircraft a few months ago
(thanks) but I was just wondering if you knew what aircraft we will actually be flying on and where it came from previously its just so we can get an idea if there would be any delays :).
Thanks in Advance

j_mie,
MAN-HOG-MAN (TOM182/3) are operated by a former First Choice Boeing 767-300/ER. If you're wanting the exact registration, we won't know until the day before. It makes little difference in any case as there's only a few seats that differ. The aircraft operates MAN-Sanford-MAN (TOM118/9) before your flight.

Hi All,
Travelling NCL-TFS on TOM 1558 22nd April, can anybody tell me if it'll be a First Choice or Thomson aircraft 752 or 75W?
Went to LPA on a 752 last year and it was an old bucket of bolts.
Cheers

Hello again Darren
Flight TOM070 April 20th Gatwick to Punta Cana. I was just wondering what the planes previous flight will be, ie where is it coming in from?
Really disappointed about the lack of pamper packs. It is useful not to have the fuss of carrying lip salve and moisturiser through security checks, and I always wear the socks on the flights. Looks like it is byo this year! Great to have forums like this to find out these things before going on board. Thanks.

AirQuake,
Aircraft are swapped and changed throughout the year so it's dificult to say this far in advance which will be based on your dates of travel. It's an ex-TOM 752 at the moment (G-BYAP), but don't be surprised if it changes as it's leaving the fleet on 26th April.

happytoholiday,
The aircraft operates to Liberia, Costa Rica (TOM074/5) before the Punta Cana (TOM070/1).

can anyone tell me how many rows of premium there are on ex thomson planes? Ive just this second got my seating plans and I think by the look of it there are only 5 rows. If so does the last row have a window at it unlike some first choice aircraft? I would rather have the back row so I can put my seat back with the person in front does so and I dont have to worry about people behind me!
thanks Graeme
thanks Graeme

Ex Thomsonfly do have 5 premium rows. As far as I know there is a window on row 5 but I'm sure Darren will be able to correct or confirm that.
