On http://www.allears.net which is a very useful Disneyworld advice website, they recommend a company offering what they call 'town cars' and we would call mini-cabs. They quote $91 one way or $172 return from Sanford Airport to Int'l Drive. Here is their website:

Hope this helps to give you some idea. Personally, I wouldn't want to do Orlando without a car, but I understand not everybody feels they want to drive. However, please do think carefully about it, if there is no reason why you can't rent a car. It would make your life so much simpler. It isn't like a holiday in a Med resort, where you don't need a car.

Also, do check out the Allears website as it is very helpful.

If you had 3 hours to spare and wanted to do it on the cheap the Lynx bus will get you there for $4.00 each!!!

I've seen on the Viator.com website that they arrange shared transfers from the airport to the hotels in Florida, ours would cost approx £23 for one way, which I think is quite a good price. Has anyone ever used this website to book their transfers at all?

Any feedback appreciated.

Thanks

I think Viator only operate from Orlando International (McCoy). I think Mears operate transfers from Sanford: http://www.mearstransportation.com/index.htm

I have now booked our transfers through the following website http://www.airporttransfers.co.uk. This has cost us £54 return for a shared minibus, which I think is an absolute bargain!

Thanks for the responses :cheers
