I'm still hoping for better deals by the time I go.

I think the non-basic rooms seem a little cheaper - or the price jump not so high, but weekend rates are still for the most part crippling.

Gets me at $62+tax a night for the MGM midweek which is fine for me. Some dates are as low as $48. But i doubt I'll use the spa even at 25% off its waaaaay too pricey for me.

I might be wrong TC but I'm expecting another wave of deals to come along in the next month or so which will obviously be too late for you guys who are going in September. At the moment I am quite content with my $68 Saturday, $22 Sunday-Thursday deal at the Excalibur in November and I doubt that will be beaten. As Jaqs has said, on my dates I can get a combination of $62 and $69 at the MGM (Saturday is $249) which I think is very decent aside from the Saturday obviously and compares well with your £35 MGM deal of a few years back.

The deals certainly haven't hit the heights of last year when we could take our pick of great deals (remember the temperature deal from the Venetian, what a fool to turn that down) but I still think its been steady. There were good deals for the Monte Carlo earlier, the Mirage was certainly offering some decent deals ($62 on some nights) but I think that was mainly August dates. The PH deal with the drinks on us was good, and of course you have the lower end Luxor and Excalibur deals which have been very tempting especially if like me you are trying to balance with costs.

As things stand I can't see beyond the Excalibur....... :D

I don't know if you have members cards to each casino but if you do it could be an idea to check your offers online.

In the last few weeks I have been given Harrahs free, Venetian (which I wouldn't bother with again) $100 a night weekends and weekdays free, free rooms at the Wynn and also the Encore and also lots of other offers in all the Harrahs casinos.

Besides the email offers I get I sometimes log in online with my players card number and that's where all the offers are.

Not sure if anyone has looked up the Platinum. Might be of interest to those of you who like Signature. We got a deal $109 per night including a bottle of wine, which I think you can have at the bar Stir. They do $10 upgrade for strip view, $20 for larger spa suite with washer and dryer and $30 for both. The suites are amazing. Hotel is smoke free. Pool area is small but lovely. They have some sort of deal on just now a temperature one where you get free beers for every degree out the temperature is from the rate or something.

Expires August 19th and you don't have to sign up to Facebook or Twitter to take advantage...but why don't you and get down with the kids!!!! :rofl

Also, Monte Carlo expires 26th August

These deals still don't go low on my dates! TeeCee you will be the same. I have had an uncancellable for the first 5 nights, then the other bit is the expensive week. I'm totally happy with my deals though, so not complaining at all!

I wish it was hot in Vegas in winter...I'd love to go again. However, think we'll stick with the Florida idea, which we've STILL not managed to plan out properly or book yet! Can't get flights under £480. Got for about £350 last year and want them that price again!

Funny enough there's actually a decent MGM deal just come out, $59 a night through the week but for the weekend I'm looking at it's $230 for the Saturday night which completely ruins it.
Seeing as Monte Carlo cost us just $477 for 7 nights including the weekend I just don't think we can change it
