I'm going on Friday too, was hoping it was going to be a bit cooler as it was over 50 degrees some days in June, won't complain though.

We just got back from marmaris this morning (Saturday 25 th Aug.)
The first few days the temperature was 35 ~ 37 deg C. in the shade.

You can not and should not measure temperature in sunlight.

The latter few days the temp. was climbing each day up to 42 ~ 43.
I have heard that there is a mini-heat wave comming, and the temps will get up to 46 ~ 47 deg. C. by this time next week. (31.08.2007)
Again this is measured in the shade, and yes, IT IS HOT ! !

45 C where you drink your beer... 55C where you sunbathe...

Today, our tv speaker said it is 39 C
