I booked our BA flights from Gatwick to Palma for 30/5/06 at the end of March and for 5 people it cost 500GBP. To book the same flight today would cost me 1,447GBP - that is absolutely astonishing because that is more than the whole holiday has cost.
Booking early really does save money doesn't it.

I booked 3 seats with BMI baby about 6 weeks ago and another 3 today, almost £200 difference now and we dont fly until September so who knows what the difference will be then.
Booked for Jet 2 several months ago £15 each way the same flights are now £60 each way, booked the hotel at the same time the price is double what we paid now
Booked 2 return flights with BA on 3rd April going next week total cost £139 thats under £70 each return. Tel
