5 days and counting 
this is the first time in several years now that I haven't had a holiday booked for Egypt

Where are you staying and where are you flying from? I'm flying out of Manchester to Hurghada the same day as you go - just thinking of what to pack though its complicated by being away at the weekend. Whatever I take though theres a mountain of ironing to do!

I hope the withdrawal symptoms aren't too bad and you have something else to look forward to instead!

We are flying from Gatwick to Luxor. Our first week is a cruise on the Crown Prince and the second week at the Nile Steinberger Hotel. Luckily my hubby done all my ironing

thanks guys, its actually a girly holiday to celebrate turning 40! So the hubby can watch the footy till his hearts content while im away.. 
First time to Egypt! 20th November for a week, Sunrise Mamlouk in Hurghada. Anyone who has been with any information about hotel,area etc. would be much appreciated. Was a bit dubious after hearing of so many tummy upsets but decided to go for it and paid the balance last night. Quite excited, first holiday for just hubby and me as youngest is off to uni in October.
27th December for 2 weeks, can anyone tell me what weather will be like then and anything special happen at new year. 
This time tomorrow we'll be on our way to Manchester airport. Can't wait - had better sort out the packing!

Yes Graham, booked to go back to the Grand Resort as soon as we returned in July, even putting a request in for the same room - how sad is that! 
I'm taking my daughter this time -she has stayed at the Grand quite a few times but this will be her first stay at the Grand Resort.

Received tickets today wooooo hooooo, 15 days and counting....
7 days.....and the hot sunshine will be shining on our faces....mmmm mmm Well packing is done and we're on countdown, flight leaves Manchester at 10.30am tomorrow, Albatros Palace here we come....
