Just looking at the Ryan flights from Blackpool for sept and they seem to be less expensive (don't like the word cheap)the last couple of weeks in September.
My wife and myself normally go to malgrat or Santa Susana the first or second week of September (after the kids go back to school) but the flights are more expensive for these weeks ???.
So my question is when does the resorts finish their season , as we enjoy the entertainment in the evening at the hotels ,Alambra Reymars Simon grant etc, so when do they finish i am sure last year the artist were on their last nights when we were their last year second week of Sept
I don't want to leave it to late in the month just for the less expensive flights to find all the entertainment has finished.

the normal rule of thumb for guestimating when a resort will close down is to look at thomson holidays for the time you want to travel and see when they finish.
that said i've been to costa brava many times in sept/oct as i think that is the ideal time to be in the area, and have booked my flights for the last week of sept.
i would not expect everything to be fully open, but there should be more than enough to keep you happy.

hello oddjob, we were in santa susanna, we did'nt come home till the 12th of oct 2007,and the live entertainment was still going strong up untill then and advertised for the week after, hope this helps
