LOl Betty, takes me all my time to put one tree up never mind three ... we have one 6ft tree. Spent 3 hours yesterday sorting out the branches and untangled the lights, and another 3 hours today dressing it .... all gold and red, and adorned with a few ornaments from my childhood days which I acquired from my late parents.

It's always been a tradition in our house that our son always switches the lights on and places the star on the top of the tree. He is now 18 years old, and had to wait until today when he returned from college in Bristol to perform the ceremony LOL!

These wee family traditions are important, our two children still leave milk and cookies for Santa and a carrot for rudolph :rofl

There is no way I am putting my tree photo on here now! Mine looks pretty boring. I can't compete with nude christmas tree decorating, or trains running around the bottom of the tree or in the middle of it.
I don't have a real tree. We used to always buy real ones until the year my tree just would not drink any of the water. When it came to taking it down, it didn't matter how gently I took off the decorations, every single needle fell off. Six months later I was still finding needles :rofl

Hall room...

complete with 'Tumpie' on the top :rofl ..he has been aloft our tree for 40 years - they used to be given away with petrol or parafin many moons ago and were often found, as he was, lying in the street having been used as a football. Unfortunately ...he'd lost his feet!

He was actually KIDNAPPED one year and we recovered him, having paid the ransom!!.. hanging down on thread from the balcony above ours in Goa LOL
